This project allowed severely mentally and physically handicapped middle school students to learn about necessary life skills, like doing laundry. It also allowed students to apply their study of cooking, fractions and recipes to a real-world situation. Read more...

Attendees toured 4 different farms; a cotton gin and a co-op. They saw many kinds of farm equipment and talked to the farmers about how farming has changed over the years.
