This summer, while many kids were celebrating being out of school, 10 students participated in an Educational Camp at Big Springs Ecological Site near Lake Guntersville. The Bat conservation project made a difference in our community by helping 12 high school students use hand and power tool skills learned in their Agriculture Class. This project allowed us to meet the American Disabilities Act and made the surroundings much more accessible for those with physical limitations, such as walkers and wheelchairs. The grant for the disc golf course for the City of Arab has had a tremendous impact for the families and the youth of our City.
