KTECH was established to sustain a pipeline between industry and a certified employment pool. Our impact is measured through our mission, which is to provide specialized workforce training and credentialing or high demand occupations to a targeted, underserved population thereby addressing the following three areas: industry’s need for skilled workers, community’s need for increased employment rates and individual’s need to be a productive, contributing member of society. KTECH is designed for the following population: young adults aging out of foster care, Veterans, and nontraditional/underserved/under resourced students.
Kayla came in to the Kids to Love family last year. She was placed in a lock down facility for 4 years and is now a resident of Davidson Farms our girls group home. As you can imagine, Kayla has a lot of hurdles too clear, but with the Soldering and Robotics certifications she now has the skills and opportunity to enter in to the industry and become a successful part of society.
