To whom it may concern,
Oneonta Public Library enthusiastically endorses this program! I am writing to recommend the services of the Cherokees of the AniYunWiYa Nation. We at the library, enjoy offering a variety of diverse program options to our patrons. This is one of our favorite groups.
I have been using this group to provide programs for children and teens for the past five years, and have always been completely satisfied with their performances. They do an excellent job, are always punctual, and offer viewers the opportunity to experience the Cherokee culture first-hand. They bring authentic artifacts, hand-made clothing, arrowheads, and animal skins for participants to see and touch. They provide an entertaining display for all age groups. Participants are mesmerized by their stories! This cultural experience helps children to become aware of the diverse history of Native Americans living in and around our state. They learn that these are real people with real lives and that their culture is a valuable part of our cultural history. They personally experience what it was like to live as a Cherokee. It is with great pleasure that I recommend the AniYunWiYa Nation to any group wishing to enhance their reading programs.
Sincerely,
Amy J. Woods
