Clothes For Kids

Our goal for this project was to restructure our space to become more organized and free up more space for clothing. We were able to replace all of our colored bins with clear storage bins of larger sizes and also add 10 extra shelving units to our building. These things have allowed us to not only store more clothing but also to locate items needed more efficiently. The opportunity to store more clothing and the work that was able to continue of our staff and volunteers thanks to AMRV RC&D allowed us to clothe 700 children in the 2017-2018 school year. This was over a 200% growth rate from the previous year. We are also able to accommodate more volunteers (which means more clothes sorted through) with more sorting tables and chairs. Overall this project was a huge success in helping us grow and reach more children throughout our area.
