Outdoor Classroom Improvements

Walter Jackson Elementary School provides students with an Outdoor Classroom and vegetable garden to be able to explore the outdoors and taste different varieties of fruits and vegetables. Often, getting into the gardens and working is difficult due to storage space or local wildlife interfering with the growing vegetables. The shed, row covers, and computer sensor equipment will make working in the OC and gardens more convenient for students and volunteers, and the row covers will help insure the students get a reliable crop of vegetables.
