The restoration of the North Sand Mountain Agriscience Greenhouse has improved the aestitics of the school campus by restoring an old eye sore. It has created an environment for educational and hands-on learning opportunities for the 100+ NSM Ag students each year and the 50+ 21st Century after School Program kids. It will be used as a lab for teaching plant science, natural resource conservation, and production agriculture for developing career and life skills for NSM students. Once in full operation, it will produce potential income for sustaining and growing the greenhouse to develop future learning opportunities for the school community. This project would not have been possible without this Grant provided by the AMRV RC&D!
