Provided fresh produce to 468 homebound clients. 41.7% of all CASA clients have an income that falls at or below the 100% poverty level of the U.S. National Poverty Line. This represents an average monthly income of $1,005 ($12,060 annually), while the national average monthly social security income in 2015 was $16,101 ($1,342 monthly). With limited financial resources and family support, our clients are barely able to meet their most basic needs for food, shelter, medication, etc., many cannot afford to purchase fresh produce
