Douglas K-8 21st CCLC Community Garden

This project strengthened the learning of elementary and middle school students and showed them how to help supply food to their community as well as their family. Students are already planning beautification projects for the community and planning for a farmer’s market next year. Every student associated with the project developed a deeper understanding of the learning process. We look forward to additional project based learning projects in the future.
