First Annual Veteran Farmers Conference

The North Alabama First Annual Veteran Farmers Conference is a free, one-day event held at the Alabama A&M Winford Thomas Agricultural Research Station in Hazel Green, Alabama.

This conference was created by veterans for veterans and focuses on therapeutic farming and agricultural startups. Come to socialize with other local veterans and hear presentations from veterans, farmers, educators, and professionals. Stay for the Farm Tour to see first-hand how agricultural projects and practices can benefit land from your farm to your garden.

Lunch is provided and many speakers, sponsors, and special guests will be available for Q&A during the lunch hour. Make sure to drop by the booths to get more information about the many incredible organizations dedicated to veterans while there.

The second half of the conference will occur outside, so please dress accordingly and make sure to stay hydrated.
