West Morgan Baseball Improvements

Thanks to the generosity of Alabama’s Mountains, Rivers, and Valleys Resource Conversation and Development Council, Inc., new tarps have been purchased for the mound and home plate areas at the baseball field at West Morgan High School. The new tarps will allow us to practice/play games on days that it has rained. Were in the past if it rained any at all the pitcher’s mound and home plate areas would be to wet for us to play/practice on and we would have to reschedule or cancel the games. And for every game that is canceled, that’s money we lost out on. The tarps have already saved us a couple games this season so far. We also purchased a pitching machine that really helps when trying to practice 35/40 kids a day.
