The Courtland Heritage Museum will use the grant to open each Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The grant will be used to pay for a tour docent, monthly utilities, supplies, and exhibit displays for educational purposes. We received no funding last year. Read more...

The park has a drainage problem which has been flooding our neighbors land and killed the majority of his trees. The walking trail is sometimes unusable because of the flooding. We have basketball goals that are not being used because they are bent. The pavilion needs a new paint job and trim. Read more...
Much of Jackson County are/have upgraded their communication equipment to digital. This upgrade has lift us unable to communicate with the different organizations within the county. Our radios that are in each vehicle and our handheld units are analog. The upgrade would replace these units. Read more...
Started in 2020, our poultry program supplies fresh, homegrown eggs, at low prices, to the community along with the free vegetables that we provide through our FFA Community Garden. Currently we have two chicken tractors, housing approximately 30 chickens. Read more...
