Marshall County has a very mountainous terrain that hinders the ability of traditional VHF-UHF Communications. With this Grant Funding, we are able to now provide “Portable VHF-UHF Repeaters” to use in conjunction with Antennas in the Field, to provide First Responders and Volunteers with the ability to communicate when Traditional Radio and Cell Phone Service is not available. We were able to bring locally grown produce into our school system. We were able to help local farmers while giving fresh produce to students all over Marshall County. The farmers were also able to educate students on the growing process and about the produce. Read more...
